It’s fine

Bought from the Ace Hardware in Dexter. Little pricey for how light it is, but it’s doing what you expect it to do.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great item. This is the fourth one I've had and it works very well. No more ashes flying around.

Good and Bad

I got it home, set it where I wanted it, lifted the lid up to check the bottom, surprise it doesn't have a bottom. Not a good feature.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Burn barrel ..large but portable

They are perfect for what i needed on my 50 acres.. portable yet large. Flip lid easy to close and little feet to give air gap when starting or to anchor in dirt when full blaze

Yes, I recommend this product.

Light gauge steel

Have purchased 6 of these over the years. Very hard to find another barrel option. Great design but is a light weight gauge steel that is very prone to rusting. Have learned you cannot leave ashes built up in the barrel for any length of time. Clean them out within two to three days. Rain and snow leak through the holes in the cover and moisture sits in the ashes. The pre-drilled holes near the bottom deteriorate from the moisture and within a year they rust out to much larger holes which allows burning embers to spill. The barrel eventually collapses around the bottom. I burn frequently throughout the year and it is quite an effort to move the barrel to dispose of the ash. Have used much heavier gauge barrels in the past which lasted 6 or more years but they are near impossible to find and you will be drilling holes in them yourself. Would pay double the price if this company could find heavier gauge product.

Great looking until you use it.

Nice looking burn barrel until you burn items in it. Paint all burned up and peeled off the first time I used it. Not impressed. Lid is okay, but welds are pretty crude.

Burn barrel

Had it for 3+ years. After about the second year the lid went to pieces. It started rusting around the middle and these high winds we just had blew it in half. But it had served it's purpose and I will be purchasing another one. Hopefully it will be a little heavier material so it doesn't burn through as quickly.
