I've been DeWalt for 10 years, had 2 dcf899's, stuck with them while Milwaukee pulled away in torque #'s. So I was thrilled when the DCF 900 came out. It seems they missed the mark somewhere, mine cooked itself first job. Got hot and packed it in doing a job my dcf899 has done many times over. Stick with the 899.

The worst high torque

This piece of junk broke in the first week of use in an auto shop. No torque couldn’t even remove a lug nut from a 2018 Honda civic.

I live in the rust belt, so I find an impacts limit sooner than later. But I can honestly say this beast has never let me down! Used daily our auto shop and hasn't failed to be as strong and reliable as I expected. Busts frozen lugs, bolts and axle nuts with ease. Takes high torques to the next level. Use both hands and the vibration is kinda bearable. It's everything the dcf899 was, and then some!! Beats all other brands, including Milwacky, haha. Check Youtube if you don't believe me. You can hardly place to much value on a tool like this.

The Only Real High Torque!

This is the only cordless gun that has truly left me speechless. So far it has busted every thing loose very easily, which includes frozen and cross threaded wheel nuts. The power in forwards is so much that u shouldn't use speed 3 unless the fastener is large enough. I'm glad to retire my old DCF899 to my truck for emergencies since this new one wont abide its presence. Haha! I truly don't see this gun letting me down. I'm as this impact becomes more popular there will be more users saying the same. The battery guard is incredibly smart! Thanks DEWALT! The bigger batteries are worth the extra weight. If you're on the fence, take my advice and buy now.
