Love the House but…

It’s a great house! Both my dogs can fit in one and that’s a space saver. The downside…. THEY DO NOT MAKE DOG BEDS/MATS for this! Unbelievable

where to find a pad for inside igloo

I have a feral cat that I use this igloo for. I keep a heating pad inside during winter with a tarp over to protect frim the elements. She stays inside all winter and in summer when it rains. Where can I buy a medium size pad for the bottom? I need a really lacement but can’t find anywhere!

Best Igloo Style Doghouse

We have two dogs and they each have their own Petmate Indigo dog house. One medium and one large. They are very solid and rain can not enter the vent or where the top fastens to the base. The vestibule style entrance helps keep wind and weather from the main bed area and they are made in USA.

My dog's favorite!

I happened to get a free Indigo and needed an extra dog house at the time. My dogs loved it so much that I bought another so that they didn't fight over it. I fill it was cedar shavings and this is where they go when it gets cold. I definitely recommend this house over a traditional wooden dog house that succumbs to the weather over time. The Indigo is a champ.

Indigo igloo dog house difficulty

Liked the idea and shape of igloo doghouse; however, the design of the base is wrong and it was extremely difficult to alter the base to fit the top. We finally got it together after cutting some of the plastic and bolting with screws.

We have not heard this type of feedback before. The base and the top should seamlessly fit together. It may be possible the retailer provided you with either a wrong size base for the top or vice versa?

It be too small for a big dog

It's too small for the size u all say I thought if it came from the USA it would be big enough for a extra large dog like a mastiff or a saint Bernard and then I found out it comes from Texas well u all now the saying

The largest size this is manufactured in is the xlarge and the dimensions are 51.5" x 39.3" x 30" and the recommended weight range 90-125 lbs. However, we do manufacture our Petmate Dogloo XT dog shelter and the dimensions are 48.5"L x 47"W x 37"H and recommended weight range 90-150 lbs. which may be better suited for your needs. Just what i expected. Bought the x-Large sides for my 110 lb American Bull Dog. Good fit seems to be dry and warm inside
